Beautiful video, thank you for making it. Love the gorgeous MS scenery. For those curious where this is, the church on the right at the 0:47 mark is the Sweet Kingdom Church at the corner of Ash Rd and Rushbrook Rd in Tchula, Ms. At around the 4:55 the driver turns right onto Bealand Plantation Road via Rushbrook Road. The community you are seeing is located on the south side of the oxbow lake here named Bee Lake.

I'm from Greenville, MS and right outside of Greenville is a town called Metcalfe. This reminds me of what we used to call "Back Road Metcalfe". Also from 2016 to 2019 I lived in Jackson and drove to Greenville every other weekend. This reminds me of that stretch from Yazoo City to Indianola on Hwy 49.

The Mississippi Delta is a vast, flat portion of the State encompassing about 4,415,000 acres. I live about 7 miles from Satartia, MS which is located midway between Vicksburg and Yazoo City along Highway 3. It is the Most Southern Place on Earth. It is a very fertile area that used to hold many, many Plantations; still does!

There are so many abandoned farms and homesteads up in the northeast corner its not funny. If you take Hwy 61 or 49 N and just exit a sideroad. Drive out for a few miles and you are in the delta. Lots of houses, buildings.. Some in fields, some in town. It's been about a year since I went up there but I remember seeing a lot right from the highway alone.. So much to explore on those backroads between little towns of a few hundred.
