@@schukls993 I'm pretty sure we hide our poor, homeless people here in the states! Our country is constantly portrayed as a place where everyone can achieve their American dream. No one ever talks about the nightmare. I think Africans deserves the right to also portray their continent as a prosperous one!!! They deserve it.

@@schukls993 I get your point, but as someone who also travels a lot, i know for a fact that Sabbatical & Indigo travellers often paint one-sided pictures of the countries they visit. I’ve noticed in several of your videos that people are trying to take all of your money very often and you always have to negotiate the price down. You should do a video on how to not be taken for all of your money while traveling.

Great videos. Really like these 'everyday life' videos: no scripting, down to earth and right in the action. I can almost smell the frying oil and black tea at the breakfast. I'm really seeing parallels between East Africa and South & Southeast Asia. Especially in terms of the food and transport. The fried bread is a breakfast staple in Malaysia, Singapore and South Asia. Tea is usually served with condensed milk. But coffee is often black with sugar. Open air restaurants like the one you ate breakfast are quite common. Lunch restaurant also very similar to what you have in Malaysia / Vietnam / Singapore or Indonesia. The transport (riding pillion and the traffic and the bus terminal) looks like Southeast Asia. But wearing a helmet like that won't do you much good in an accident. The style of buildings in Dar Es Salaam also reminds me of Malaysia or Thailand. East Africa really looks like a good place for budget travel. Please keep these videos coming!
