If you are using the little nail holders that stick to a metal plate then this could be your problem. The little stand thingies have a magnet on the bottom which will always fight the magnet you are using on the nails. Try using some sticky stuff under the nail and stick it to a pencil or some other such thing.

Ooh it could be the magnet on the holder like noneya says, if that's what you're using. The ones I do are on those but it doesn't seem to affect it. Try the magnet from different distances from the nail as well. Ugh, sorry to hear you suffer with it too. It really really is the fudging worst. Big hugs ❤️
