I'm soooo impressed that you can speak so much Mandarin! My husband is Taiwanese Chinese and my dad is chinese (spoke both mandarin and cantonese) but wanted to be "north american" when he came as a 14 yo orphan to Canada via the US. He met my mom in Canada so I'm half Chinese and half european-canadian (caucasian). He apparently says he forgot all of his chinese and my husband was born in NY and his first language is Mandarin... his parents always speak to him in mandarin (they speak english very well) amd he responds in english... bit he can speak Mandarin fluently. (And is 6'5 like your hubby). I swear they are identical in their personalities and their hands! Wow... and arms are identical. Anyways.. i have tried and tried to learn Mandarin but it is soooo hard. I feel like I'm saying it exactly like he says the word but the intonations are super difficult! How can "ma" said 6 different ways mean everything from horse to mother and beyond. Ugh! You are sooooo goood! So funny. I'm looving this video.. His laugh is super funny!! 😂😂😂
