Nidhogg is definitely a great solo support, but I don't see her replacing a saint when it comes to supporting a whole team. The dragon clan only buffs would really have it's limits

Nidhog will not replacing saint, but it's better to have both in a party rather than 2 saint or 2 nidhog in a party. Both job give different type of buff, it'll make dps job stronger. Nidhogg existence in party can change party member race, and it will make other job usefull in ponnape.

Nidghogg is the perfect transition job for solo dps dual players with slave saints that carries other players in instances especially CML LIL

IMO the Priet's niche cannot be replace by Niddhogg but having both in a party would be very beneficial. The boost given to the priamry DPS by a Niddhogg would greatly help clear instances.

Nidhogg sounds great for those who have investments on magic damage and have a T4 Priest that is not really up to par to be brought on some instances. Could be a great support but priest is almost a staple support that outperforming them would be almost impossible.

Now I’m worried, since many Priests in my guild are so looking forward to convert to Nidhogg. Also, it’s a bit sad the way Rom is heading right now. Instead of nerfing the old op skill, they decided to just release new class that have some skills that ignore them, while having some new more op skills instead. :(

You can get both. They are from the same line. It's just Nidhogg is kind of an offensive support and is only good paired with a very good dps class. If you want to be an overall support, Priest will do you fine.

@@beanplays129 They have strengths and weaknesses. For GVG, a close-nit party would greatly benefit having a Nidhogg but IMO Saints are better for GVG scenarios.
