I would stash extra money in there for a rainy day. A tip I use for glueing things like steps, furniture, etc is, brace them as they dry with cheap lego blocks since they are a 90 degree angle and you can stack them accordingly. Makes ladders and things like that SO much easier to glue. TY for the lovely and relaxing video. Your work is beautiful!

That looks great! I always wanted a library with a ladder, too. Since the book “The Secret Garden” was basically the beginning of your journey to reading, rather than making a secret nook, you could print a copy of that book jacket and put it on the wall behind the door as a reminder of how your journey began. My partner is a librarian at an elementary school. She puts a lot of thought and effort into ways to get different kids interested in reading, as I’m sure your's did also. I hope you, Mr. Mini Life, and All Ball have been staying healthy and happy.

An idea to place behind the opening door would be a light of scene of maybe a garden or some place you'd like to make. Something to signify how books let you travel to different places and time. So you have the option of leaving it slightly open with light shining through to create a mood or open to show the scene. :)

Firstly, this is awesome! There's so much detail - I especially like the labels on the shelves and the distress on the floor. Secondly, you said that you're getting ready to need to make a whole bunch of doorknobs - are you familiar with Blue Stuff? You can also get it on Amazon marketed as a toy (called Oyumaru), but it's basically a thermoplastic that turns into a putty when heated up (~5 minutes in hot water), which can then be used to make quick molds for things. In this case, you could sculpt a doorknob, make a mold with the thermoplastic, and then cast it with some other sort of self curing material (I've used both milliput and Aves apoxie sculpt, just pressed into the mold). As an added bonus, whenever you're done with the mold you can just heat it up again to use for something else.

THATS SUUUUCHH A GOOD IDEA!! I have some oyumaru and I never even thought of that! Thank you this is gonna change some things 😁❤️

I like that you showed the way you push a cat to let them know which space they are allowed to occupy. I think a lot of people don't know that, and either go way too hard or command the cat as they would a dog, which doesn't work as well because the cat doesn't have the same body language as a dog. And as for the pushing - if you just tell a person to do that, they might go too hard and hurt the kitty. The way it's done in this video is the right way to do it in general - not too hard, but clearly a push, like a clear message to let the cat know that this space is not for them to occupy. Though I think it might be better to do it nearer the cat's chest or the side of their body, depending on which direction you want the cat to move, not on their legs since that might be more likely to provoke the cat to scratch or attack (though I get that legs might be a little easier to access from some positions, and that if you can't do the push precisely on the cat's chest, it's better to do it on the legs than to accidentally end up pushing your hand past their legs to their belly because cats don't like having their bellies touched and they would be more likely to be upset about having their bellies touched than their legs).
