Yea. The bright cap on joes twin needs to be clipped. That’s a new reissue. Those bright caps make the new reissues too fizzy and shrill.

do you know what amp it is?
@MrThepetrolhead17 жыл бұрын
it might be a '65-ish Twin Reverb. Just going off what it looks like to the modern reissues. I know he has loads of the original Blackfaces
@joeyfalcone_7 жыл бұрын
do you think it’s that loud?
@songwritingschematics21597 жыл бұрын
Bro, a cranked Twin Reverb will cause immediate eardrum damage. You're talking something like 125+dB. You may as well be standing next to a jet when it takes off with it's 140 dB output. You do not want to be 10 foot away from a cranked Twin Reverb, trust me.

@kenmurphy67925 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't. 1-4-5, augmented, diminished, chromatic scales, ALL is fair game when you have this much talent and experience on the stage, ANYTHING GOES! But!! Like you said, It's a "Blues Cruise" and just out of respect for that fact, and for the audience's edification, they keep things "Straight Up" as they refer to it in the blues circle.
