The ones who bashed Maxine Medina and Gazini Ganados over Kylie Verzosa and Bea Patricia 'Patch' Magtanong while the Philippines had a chance to win back-to-back Miss Universe titles are bandwagon fans who ride the coattails of Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray winning Miss Universe titles and go all-in for only a back-to-back Miss Universe title reign and not knowing Philippine pageantry as a whole. I rather see the Philippines try to win pageants especially in the Big Four with all four of Universe, World, International and Earth year after year than to go all-in for only a back-to-back Miss Universe title reign and come away with nothing.

I'm so sick and tired of bandwagon pageant fans like you who act like Miss Universe is the be all and end all just because Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray won Miss Universe and go all-in for only a back-to-back Miss Universe title reign and not knowing Philippine pageantry as a whole. I bet you would've thrashed Kylie Verzosa even worse than Maxine Medina in a blink of an eye had Kylie failed to win Miss Universe 2016 to follow up her Miss Universe PH 2016 title because she would've faced the double whammy of not helping the Philippines win back-to-back Miss Universe titles especially trying to help the Philippines become the first country other than the United States and a U.S. territory like Puerto Rico to win Miss Universe on home soil and seeing the Philippines' Big Four international beauty pageant title winning streak snapped at three consecutive years instead of six from 2013 to 2018 including Kylie's Miss International 2016 title. Same thing with Bea Patricia 'Patch' Magtanong. Had Patch failed to win MU 2019 in Atlanta to follow up her MUPH 2019 crown, Patch wouldn't have a chance to compete for the MUPH title with the MUPH as a stand alone one. You just love to disregard and ignore the other three Big Four pageants in World, International, and Earth which is an insult towards Megan Young, the PH's first and to date, only Miss World titleholder. It is also an insult towards the four Filipinas who won Miss Earth in Karla Paula Henry, Jamie Herrell, Angelia Gabriela Ong, and Kylie's fellow Binibining Pilipinas 2016 batchmate Karen Ibasco, who helped extended the Philippines' Big Four title winning streak at five consecutive years and surpassing Venezuela's four consecutive years between 2008 and 2011, with her Miss Earth 2017 title. And your bandwagon whining about Kylie and Patch also insults the five Filipinas who won Miss International before Kylie in Gemma Cruz, Aurora Pijuan, Melanie Marquez, Precious Lara Quigaman, and Bea Rose Santiago. If I were you, I rather try win the whole lot year after year instead of going all-in for a back-to-back on something and come away with nothing.
