Missouri Black Bear Hunt!!

Thanks for showing us this snapshot of your hunt. I was lucky to draw a tag this season for zone 2. If you have any advice based on your experience in this hunt I'd love to learn from you. Happy hunting!

Thank you for your kind words! The only advice I can give is get a really comfortable pair of hiking boots, and prepare for putting in miles. You might as well not pay attention to their habits now, as in the fall, all of their patterns change completely! The only thing on their mind is food. So in my opinion, walk until you find fresh sign, and then find their food and water source!

I'm a Missouri native an the radio said that this year bear hunt there was 15 harvested an it was more bear took than the first year

Sadly no, I would genuinely hate to know how many miles we walked. There was only 12 harvested in the state!
