That coward ordered an employee to remove a perfectly legal sign and walk it over to his competition in an attempt to intimidate him. He wanted to vandalize his neighbor's property and send a message, so he ordered someone else to do it. What an embarrassment for Starbucks. They are now placing blame on competition for having made the mistake of building way too many stores. We are really close to reading headlines like, "2 competing Starbucks on the same block burned to the ground and the suspect is the owner of a Starbucks 1 block away. Seriously, I haven't seen a company grow out of control this way since AT&T had a monopoly in the 60's and that didn't end well for them either.

Starbucks coffee comes pre-roasted, but not pre-ground; their proprietary espresso machines have a built-in grinder and tamper--the grounds are deposited into containers for composting underneath the machines. You can actually bring in your own bag of starbucks-branded coffee beans and they'll grind it for you (there are coffee grinders, usually by a sink). Source: worked there in 2022

Just Add Coffee in Taylorsville, UT made the news in 2007 with a shirt that the local big religious organization didn't like. We visited and picked up the 2.0 version of the shirt, and when we asked about the wi-fi password, they smiled and told us that it was a four letter word beginning with F- and the name of the coffee shop that had moved in next door, with a green mermaid on their logo. Turned out that the newcomer didn't yet have free wi-fi, so they were giving out JAC's SSID, thus prompting the security. What'll happen is that yet another coffee shop will see the green mermaid and they'll build nearby, with this gentleman's shop being the loser. For my part, I dumped Starbucks in Mt. Pleasant, TX some time ago, and enjoy the heck out of Jo's Downtown, if there's anybody in East Texas reading this.
