I remember when Montana rolled into the Dome in that same season and got beat 33-6 in the playoffs I think it was with Freshman Easton Stick at QB. Bison definitely got the last laugh that year but that first game was indeed crazy

I can add a little nugget of info on Murray State as I worked there for several years until recently. One of their throwback logos shown at 3:10 known as the "Snorting Dunker" logo (named after the mascot) has been reintroduced in recent years by popular demand and is now used as an alternate logo by their sports teams. Personally, it's awesome!!

6:33 The high school I played for actually faced a team with this logo, who’s a powerhouse in the classification we were in back then. We traveled to their stadium, scored the first touchdown and then got torched 70-8 they went all the way to the title game. Thus I don’t watch anything Illinois State because of the awful flashbacks.

Western Illinois began use of the Marine Corps' official nickname, "The Fighting Leathernecks," in 1927 when then-athletic director and head baseball, basketball and football coach Ray "Rock" Hanson was granted permission by the U.S. Navy, based on his status as a Marine hero, to use the Marine's official seal and mascot along with their nickname.

Fun fact… both NDSU & the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks happen to share Newman Outdoor Field during the baseball season, one of the few stadiums in the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball! Happened to work with the RedHawks over the summer on the production side running cameras… I’ll be joining the Fargo Force (a team in the USHL) this season also doing cameras until I apply for college

So I went to UNI and I couldn't agree more about our logo. I don't like the font, and the panther is just a copy of Carolina's logo. I think we should go back to the 1990's/early 2000's.
