There are so many girls on this platform filling their audiences' heads up with absolute garbage when it comes to diet and weight loss, but you have done a superb job in losing weight the HEALTHY way. Good luck with your weight loss journey! I started mine in 2016 so I know how success feels, how it feels to hit plateaus, and basically everything. I know it can be a little scary when you starve your body to the point where it starts to fight back in a way and you have to stop. Or how it feels to not know what to do but nothing is impossible. You will learn a lot about your body and yourself in the process. Never give up! I started at 151 and I am 5ft-5'1. I got lost along the journey because I became too obsessed with losing weight that I dropped all the way to 94. Now I have worked hard to gain and let go of my eating disorder so I am 110 and happier than ever.

In case anyone else was wondering, Dr. Goglia has the title dr because he has a PhD in nutrition science. If im not mistaken (im canadian), there is no standards board governing who can call themselves a nutritionist in the US (only who can be registered as a dietician). Dr. Goglia doesn't seem to have a dietetics degree. Seems more legit than most Hollywood nutritionists, but again, he is not required to meet as many standards as a dietician. I can see pros and cons to seeing him over a dietician (more cutting edge techniques etc.) but its definitely something to bear in mind when watching. Love your videos Remi!

I think you did say you're going to be seeing a second nutritionist as well, and I think that's a very good idea! I just feel like I couldn't trust a doctor that most likely only top paid celebrities can afford. I would be more trusting of a doctor that isn't featured on Entertainment Weekly...But at the very least, I am very proud of you, Remi, for seeking outside help in this way. I was really excited when you tweeted about making an appointment with a nutritionist and therapist, and I hope it goes well for you!

On the off chance that someone sees this comment, if you struggle with an eating disorder you do not want to watch this video. It is super triggering. It’s quality content and most will find it to be super interesting, but those of us who have issues with disordered eating should steer clear. Rem, I am so proud of you and all you do. ❤️❤️

Remi your metabolism bounces back faster than you think. I’ve worked with different dietitians and then on the implants and it’s amazing when I’ve stuck to these meal plans how I asked my hunger and for mosquitoes came back. Because I was struggling with Minnesota and not eating very healthy. Also something to know a doctor only has to take my nutrition class to get their medical license where is a registered dietitian customer for years of school to get their license. I highly recommend working with a registered dietitian . I started to lose weight in a healthy way and doing it on the slower way. Instead of a quick and fast way .

I love how educational this was, and I LOVE how you did your research and self assessed before going to the doctor. It's so important to be your own best advocate before seeking professional help and I so admire how responsible you're being - and how on point your predictions were! Your metabolism is never "broken". It will become more efficient if you have been dieting for months and all you have to do to remedy it is go on a diet break or have a couple of refeed days.

I'd highly recommend meeting with a Registered Dietitian (RD) to see what they have to say as well about what style of eating may be best for you. I'm a future dietitian and all RDs have to get a Bachelors degree (and in a few years, a Masters degree will be required as well), and go through an accredited internship with over 1000 hours of practice in order to take the exam to get the title of Registered Dietitian. In comparison, anyone can call themselves a nutritionist, there is no regulation to that title. Dietitians are the true nutrition experts, and I would love to see you meet with one and share that experience as well!
