My father, my black african father has been a great father to my siblings and I...every evening he will boil water and bath us, every morning before school, he would wake up way before us,make fire and boil water, bath us,prepare breakfast for us...he helped us with school homework..every saturday he will polish our school shoes ,and put them in the sun( apparrently it made them shinier)...he has been the best father ever...Now he is old and frail..his hands shake a bit....everytime i look at those hands im like this hands has taken care of us...I do my best to let him know that i appriciate him..sometimes i spend the whole evening, up to midnight with him ,just the two of us....talking or even listening to his stories....he is my everything....I wish I could do more for him...but im limited in what i can do....but he knows for sure I adore him...i guess thats what matters....so i understand you Trudy...im pleased to see you honour your father..
