whoever dreaded your hair did a great job even the first week they looked good ! 😊 and I heard it's kinda difficult to dread non ethnic hair because it doesn't knot together as easily but yours look fabulous! ❤ my hair literally starts dreading within a week if I don't detangle lmao

Dreads are really frizzy for quite some time in the beginning, I've had mine for 6 months and there's still some frizz. It really depends on hair type and how you started your dreads. They need time to lock. You can use the crochet method to speed the process up.

Wow your dreads are beautiful! How did you keep them so nice? Most of the timeline videos I've seen the dreads have to go through this terrible loopy stage. It never looked like yours did that. Once again, love your dreads they are so beautiful and they make me want to get dreads 😜

Your dreads came out awesome, I'm planning on doing mine but i don't know where or how to start. I was told I can do them myself or get them done professionally. Any advice?
@littlepumpkinseed8 жыл бұрын
Teddy Gonzales you can get them made by special afro barbers they are very good but also super expensive! I just went to a person who did it for less money but always asks if you can see examples of how he/she works. ps: if you do not know how to begin or if it will look good on you. just take a few begin with 1 or 3 and if you like it, do you whole head! :)

Did they make your hair thinner or have bald spots because i have fine hair.. fine hair is thin hair but a lot of it. and i don't want to bald. also you have to make sure not to tighten the roots all the time so the follicle of hair can breathe. Please answer, thanks. Morgan

so beautiful. how does it come that your hair is quite thin in the beginning and thick in the end? I thought that thin dreads get even thinner?
@terradavis7 жыл бұрын
Dreads don't shed hair that would naturally fall out of the head which gives thin dreads a thicker appearance when they are matured. So, if you don't want thick dreads when they are matured, keep them a bit thinner when you initially make them. They will thicken up twice the size in the end.

thanks :)

I don't think so from looking at her hair. That will only happen if your dreads are done too tightly or too heavy of extensions are used

The dreads look great, but what about cultural appropriation? I stopped having dreads to be more sensitive to the appropriation of African American culture. Maybe that's more of a USA thing? PS, I adore your natural curly hair too. Totally jealous! =D
@marilynrichards35517 жыл бұрын
Vegan Ryder I've noticed it's more a USA thing. Maybe it's the fluoride? *shrugs*
@jennifer37445 жыл бұрын
This hairstyle doesn't belong to any one! It's more of a spiritual than cultural thing for some people. I want to have dreads and I eventually will get them
@itsallgood40935 жыл бұрын
First dreads were first recorded in Greece, so this cultural appropriation is a bit bs. Plus it's HAIR! No one should own a hairstyle!
