I want to comment something here was… Not all Khasi people don’t like a woman to married a Non-Khasi but it just that our society has met or has seen in all these past generations that whom ever a woman married the Non-Khasi, later they left and go back in their own places and not comeback. Not all but some. So why these happen today’s , was esp. men are responsible and cares for our own people, they get irritated when they know this kind of situation. And i understand here that you’re a very different and understanding person so i hope that you’ll going to continue loving her, respect her culture and care her till life depart each other. Very nice love story Missy very innocent woman. My husband is Italian I'm Khasi but we have same culture because I've been brought up in Sardinia Italy. Unfortunately I don't know anything about Khasi culture or Khasi food except turungbai. People comments or opinions none of my business because I'm bloody foreigner in England, Italy and in Meghalaya too when I go holiday people think I'm not Khasi. I and my family have been in Shillong for more than 4 decades, my family have become total Khasi . We speak in Khasi even at home, respect the tradition and culture of the Khasi people.
