Not only is she a great artist but a kind hearted person. I personally witnessed this. In 1988 while attending Manor H.S in Portsmouth Virginia there was a morbidly obese 500- 600lb student name Roosevelt. Missy protected, was kind to, and Affectionately called him, Rosie until his death about 20 years ago. Missy has saved my life in music. The Rain was on MTV when I rescued myself from a violent situation a couple lifetimes ago. I had just moved back to 757, a military brat born at Ptown N. She's actually a producer who has written hit songs for several artist. Rock and roll and Rock aren't the same thing. Rock and roll was just the name they used for popular music of the time. Little Richard Chuck Berry and Big Mama Thornton created Rock and roll. Its a mesh of several music styles

Some musicians have leveraged fashion in the same way they leverage scores of dancers or sex or lewd behaviour. I am not against any of these things, but they are not music. Music must be able to stand alone, anything else is completely secondary and falls into the category of entertainment, not music.
