I never let anyone come up if I'm in the hospital. Once I'm admitted, I send them home until I get out. I have God with me and too many things to catch in hospitals today

There's nothing that can be done by family at the hospital that can't be done over the phone - unless you get a feeling of unease & need someone to watch the staff like a hawk... A neighbor had a relative in the hospital & a narcissistic nurse caused him to bleed out & nearly die - which he would have if his wife hadn't been there yelling & screaming to get attention from the rest of the staff, while the narcissist tried to cover her ass.

I think ya all might have missed the point. You must have someone to advocate for you when first admitted. Now, there are situations where this may not be necessary. But if you’re really ill, you need someone there. Let’s just say it’s a safety issue. I quit working for a hospital many years ago and went to work for a doctor. I know of what I speak. Frankie on the show The Middle had a saying, "you do for family". That is true! Right now we have a grandson whose been in the hospital here in Central PA since last Monday. We have been spending a lot of hours with him. He had bad seizures, brain fluid, and is having it real rough for a 3 1/2 yr old to have to experience. But we are with him. He is our family. That is an example of the church more than a business or political model.

I’ve had a rough experience with my former home church. Lost of purpose and is more money and people driven than God driven. Things seem to get over complicated by leaders when it should be simple and enjoyable to grow in. I still pray for those people and pray they know peace and the bigger picture
