Before I read the news of the day here in the US, I need this to calm down and get ready to do some kind of resistance. I come back to my studio in a few hours, watch this or another one of your videos, really listen to the glorious music and paint. It makes me sane in an insane time. Many many thanks Umberto. I watch and paint with Umberto (as well as Liron Yanconsky and other great and generous artists) via You Tube to maintain a semblance of sanity in an insane time, too, Ann! You are not alone. Another fantastic painting, Umberto. Thanks so much!

while growing up, Somehow I stopped painting but the passion for painting is still in me. I am going to start it from today itself. Thanks for inspiring, colorful love from India 💙.

Your style reminds me of the Chinese and Japanese ink prints, which are so beautiful. You have captured that in your own way. Love your style and thanks for all the videos. Thanks much, Roxie

Cette belle aquarelle comme les plus récentes est très proche des photos (bien composées) et montre qu' il n'est pas forcément nécessaire de modifier une photo en termes de tons, valeurs et formes. L'abstraction ou l'accentuation a certes toute sa valeur, et vous l'avez souvent montré, mais la fidélité au sujet , quand on sait en dégager toute la poésie (objets inanimés avez-vous donc une âme ?) est également une des nombreuses facettes de cet art merveilleux. Merci encore de l'illustrer aussi bien et aussi clairement. Jacques Perret;

@umberto.rossini7 жыл бұрын

What brush or broom did you use for flicking the paint onto the painting in the end?
@umberto.rossini7 жыл бұрын
it's a home made broom .

Such casual and apparently careless skill and beauty.....again! I really thought even you would struggle with that ugly swathe of neutral tint. Unsurprisingly, it all completely came together. Is that neutral tint a bit like Paynes Grey?
@umberto.rossini7 жыл бұрын
The name is neutral tint and you find it whatever the brand. Generally it's composed with 3 pigments, but varying with the brand.

is it just me or his painting looks ugly while drawing and absolutely spectacular in the end, whereas for me it's the other way around

I'm not sure to understand your meaning
@ErinneKennedy7 жыл бұрын
He is talking about how the painting evolves......moving from somewhat not so interesting to absolutely fantastic or spectacular. I think....I find your entire pprocess fascinating. when you get to the dark foreshadow I thought you had made a mistake myself but the end result was awe inspiring

which brush (make and size) are you using for the sky and wash ?
