also be carefull when you go up top those towers that look like ranger stations cause you can walk straight thru those rails no hit box and i fell off top and died

It's a huge update, and it was obvious that it was going to come with a lot of bugs. It's really better to wait for it to fix everything or help by reporting the bugs.

I agree better to wait, but I never had much faith in the dev, bugs have been reported for years that are still in the game like the bug that killed the stream that one has been around since rescuing npcs have been but of course its still in the game. I only did videos on the game to help other players play.

@@Viper1392000 the old map plays good tho but it still has bugs to i like how he has made lot more vehicles avaible my main thing was i could not find any bags so they must be in the houses also did you notice he cut down on the bags space even with upgrades he should just make a inventory sytem like all other survival so be lot less problems with the inventory

that loud noise you heard was the guy crashing the car it is a random event and he is a trader you cant recruit as far as i know the german shepard is great but he took off on me around 3rd day so you may want have food for him before you rescue him

@@Viper1392000 yes he did a hot fix just before he reverted it he should have had a beta version of the new map for at least a month for the community to play so lot of the game breaking bugs could been worked out cause even indie dev teams that has several devs use a unstable branch or beta branch before they relase updates he also needs a discord and post it on steam to help him out . I like the old map to tho

If in dyer need for water and you have a workbench make new bottles each bottle get first safe water for each new bottle.

Love the videos, no problem with that. My respects to you sir. But I would like to ask a question: When is a final update due (if you know) because there is no loot, no items to find (except for cloth) and little else. Do not like the map but understand full that is "early access" so I understand that. However, I think that I will give it a miss until a final update. Viper no disrespect, great tutorial vids anfd continued content (subscribed) bit I feel that I should wait. Mick

This update sorta broke me on Mist Survival and haven't played it since this livestream. I can't seem to play it without being salty. Nobody knows when the final update will be, we weren't even tracking this complete change to the map it just came out of the blue, the dev does not communicate with but a very select few and getting info is rather scarce.

Hey guys.. I'm opening the game but it still opens the old version.. What am i missing? Please help. Do i need to delete the old game? Or is there somewhere i need to go to install the update.

The dev rolled back the main game to a previous version, he did also make a beta test branch and you can play one or the other. To get to the 0.5 version that I played right click the game in Steam, then Properties and you should see the Betas tab, click that then on the drop down select 0.5 and it will download 9gb and install it.

and the best base to have is one that has like 2 cabins and a white building and has like a platform with american flag hanging on it cause it is right above lake and it is like between everything else

@@Viper1392000 oh and there is a bear and cub on the oppiste side of the lake that patrol close to that house acorss from lake where i am talking about and there is a ton of pigs with babies like a heard of them that hang out at place i am talking about but i tried shoot pigs point blank and the chicken with shot gun but it didnt kill them so i am thinking maybe those and the chickens we suppose catch first cause it has option make feed lol didnt know we could catch them till saw you do it lol i have no idea where the ore is cause i went in a cave didnt find any also that random crash event first time i heard it i was in the big white church and heard it and it scared crap out me the bandits do show up where it happens sometimes to so watch out for those when saving them from the crash i really hope he gets it ironed out if he had a discord for bug reports and suggestions would be best oh and i founds way to glitch in the houses that you cant get in all i do is save then quit and reload and run fast into house before the walls load of the house loot and then save quit then reload and run out lol

@@johntoney810 ah that makes sense with the car crash I was sure there was a bandit at the spot but then they disappeared. There is an official discord that has a bug report section but honestly with so many bugs that has been in the game since day 1 I have little faith in him actually getting them. Plus Rati isn't even in the discord the admins forward stuff to him.

@@Viper1392000 yes but belive he said will have watch out for the climbing ones cause they can jump and climb up into your tree house so you would really have super secure it what i was thinking of doing is building one of the car mechinc shop to park truck in and run fence behind it all way around edge of the ridge around the cabins i was talking about then link some tree houses alll way around like watch out towers but live in the cabins for the most secure lol

you have to right click on game in steam, properties and then go to beta section and switch it to the 0.5 whatever version to play this version. It was so craptastic bad that the dev reverted the game to 0.4 something. I haven't played Mist since this live stream.

I have noticed you dont play this anymore, the newer update is so much better, you have to made a new video with it updated this is terrible, i got the game when the newest verson came out and it is so much better

@@Viper1392000 Dev you should have updated the farmland beyond the boss tunnel then if the update failed as bad as it has you could have blocked the tunnel and worked on the area again without affecting our save games or the game in general. Mr Dev you took on way beyond what was feasable for 1 man. My way would work better. Please do not change the map just change beyond the tunnel. Thank you.
