Mr Fab is fucking awesome at edifying the people around him past present and future. I wish I had a friend like that. He gave everyone he talked about their flowers and they're not even there, and homegrown too. Thanks for your podcasts! Keem 'em coming! #listenandlearn #homegrownradio

Good one brothers.... Made me home sick..lol. I just got to work so I cant say much, but as a 54 year old, ( 40 years in LA County ) with lots of people in So-Cal & The Bay, so I understood both sides of what you dudes were speaking. My parents were record dealers in the 70s & 80s & I ran with Dj crews in the 80s and 90s. I grew up, ran, had people and worked in many different neighborhoods, so I get it forreal... I could freestyle on these topics all day, but no time to do so, but I appreciate all the gems you guys were spitting. I may jump in later. Keep doing what your doing, the culture needs more than just the Negativity, they need the history and stuff that can help teach the hip hop kids of the future. Fab, you underrated too homie...✌🏼

I don’t believe that…. If Pac lived thru that night in Vegas he probably would’ve died later. He was collecting too many affiliated enemies … the night they jumped Baby Lane was him now pretty much choosing a gang side. The Dogg Pound and the Crips associated with them was already like Fuck death row after the incident with PAC and snoop on the plane… if pac was lived thru that night in Vegas the deep down gang ties would’ve drew so many lines…. I mean you look at how to the rest of the world Tupac death was a mystery but if you lived in LA you always heard whispers about Baby Lane. Wasn’t nobody killing snoop

Correction Fab: Bloods and Crips are NOT descendants of the Panthers. Respectively. We've always had gangs in L.A. Businessmen, Slausons, Gladiators, Farmers, Avenues. Bunchy Carter was a Slauson. Those are the progenitors of Crips and Bloods. And we have deep family ties going back generations that makes it difficult to break the cycle

Community resources for independent people = crips styled on the black panther party which was formed 3 years before the maturation of the crips … respectfully he’s right
@ATHTSupply
@ATHTSupply Жыл бұрын
Respectfully as a person who comes from a family of Crips , and a descendent of the New House Boys… the Bloods and Crips are descendants of the panther party. The Businessmen, Slausons, Gladiators , that you named. Where shut down by the Panthers and the USO……The Avenues still existed , along with others like the New House Boys , Acey Deucy, Chain gang and Westside. The panthers had a really decent influence on the Streets and often attempted to keep things at bay in south Central… when the Panthers were infiltrated and ultimately Dismantled yes you had gangs the existed … But Blood and Crip is totally different from Avenues , Baby Avenues , Slausons , etc….When most of those aforementioned gangs United under the Westside Crip umbrella , they were created with a Panther Party blueprint in mind….they weren’t just gonna be a street gang committing robberies and crimes like the older generation of Businessmen, Slausons, Avenues , etc… which is where the Acronym Community Revolution In Progress Came from….Between the Media , Rivals , etc the origins of Crips have been given all kinds of twisted stories…because the Panther Party was infiltrated a “you either Crip or against us mentality was formed” which led to a lot of people viewing Crips as a neighborhood terror. In which individuals formed the Bloods to protect their sides of the neighborhoods…..I know this a lot but I figured I’d spread a history lesson Given to me by an Active New House Boy member turned Crip when it first started. The Panthers had their hands and influence deep in the early Gangs of LA …. And influence The Crips and the Bloods. Remember Crips and Bloods are different from the older gangs you named and FAB was speaking only on them.
