I actually really like soapy's. Set price, private, cheaper than Gogo bars. Cleaner than regular bars on streets like Soi 6, etc. Girls are better looking as well. But do be careful, the man working who presents you with the price card, will often times have two cards with different prices. If you think the prices are a little high, just tell him you were there a few days before and the prices were cheaper. He'll then put the cheaper card in front of you.

You forgot to mention, when using the atm, be careful not to leave your card at the atm. Thai atm dispenses cash first then your card. Many people grab the cash and walk away. On shorter vacations cash is good. Use the yellow to currency booths. Good rates and an honest business
