You should make a video specifically on phd. Like if someone wants to do a phd in norway than what would it be like. Living as a phd fellow, what are the benefits, are you considered as a student or not, can you avail student residential facilities, and more importantly what is the working environment during phd, how helpful ate the supervisors, is there an opportunity to learn new skills and methodologies in form of lectures or courses etc. Thanks

Hi Arvind, I have B.Tech in Civil Engineering from India. I had applied for NTNU Masters Program Fall-2020 and got rejection by stating "Admission to this programme requires a minimum of 30 ECTS in Mathematics and Statistics". I really wanted to pursue my masters from Norway but as majority of University do require 30 ECTS in Mathematics and Statistics for admission in Engineering Stream which is impossible if considered word by word as Maths & Statistics for any Engineering Syllabus. In such case, i want to make an appeal against this judgment of rejection. What point can i make base for this ? Can you please cooperate me in this regards ? Would the appealing really make sense to turn the university judgement into a positive note ? Thank you and waiting for your response.

Hi connections, I thought to update you all on mentioned issue of mine as said earlier. I received today the result of appeal and OIA has reserved it's decision as not qualified mentioning "Courses such as Mechanics of Solids etc. which are not pure mathematics courses, but which use mathematics as a part of the course, cannot be counted towards the mathematics requirement." But If this is the case then most of indian students would not be qualified for NTNU for the such courses as more or less all Indian university curriculum are same, i guess. This lesson can be noteworthy for all prospective students. It is been a good journey of application and continuous support of NTNU. Wish you all good luck.
