@rvd356 Mr America was Tim's movie in the same way that Der Erwige Jude was a Jewish film. The film allegedly featured Tim, but in such an unfair and inaccurate way that its portrayal of him can barely even be called Tim. It was a cinematic hit piece. A hate crime on film. An attempted assassination with a camera.

Now, I tend to lean toward being a Gregghead, but I got to say, I find it refreshing and empowering to see a firearm being handled and showcased in such a professional and safe manner. Tim really hit the nail on the head with On Cinema On Defense. Not only do I feel vastly more knowledgeable about the Glock gun, but am scrambling like an egg to find that opening song to the segment. If everyone had guns (like the Constitution demands) there would be no reason for that segment and we could finally focus on the movies!

It's not that I have never shot one and don't really know much about them outside of the typical shoot em up movie franchises that I love, but I really just grow tired of defending my beliefs at LA dinner parties. What's really impressive about Tim is that years after being chased all over an LA neighborhood by a mentally disturbed neighbor with a knife, who ultimately caught him and stabbed him in the back (this was years before he became special agent Decker), Tim has used his superior legal mind to figure out a way to game California's restrictive gun laws in order to defend himself and make sure that never happens again. Because even though police do show up immediately after you call them, you have a right to defend yourself. And yes, if we give that right up it's likely the government will just give it back to us if we ask nicely, but what's the point? Why go through all the trouble?
