I like to think (or at least tell myself) that I have a "a good ear" for good music. Years ago, when Kevin was starting-out, he wrote an awesome blue-grass song called "Calgary Skyline Blues" ... and Buddy just fucking nailed it. Nothing before ... or after ... even comes close. And I live on "The Eastern Slope" ... east a The Rockies, and west a the rest. Buddy nailed it. It worked. Sounded genuine. And it was easy to love ... the lyrics are almost maudlin, but the chords and music carry the day.
