Thats cool that he erases the lines before inking. I guess draw heavy and you'll have nice loose tracing lines once erased

Mitch is a really good artist and seems like a super kind and caring person. What I can't get over though is in several interviews he compares US military troops to the heroes he draws in mainstream superhero comics. It just seems like such a bleed-in to a toxic culture which unduly lionizes our military. I have respect for veterans and especially want them to receive adequate care when the machine is done with them. But, fundamentally the military occupation is about the taking of lives. Superheroes are about saving lives and working for the common good. In my mind, they couldn't be more disparate categories and it feels like a super weird breach of the fictional worlds with the real world. I don't like that.

I'm an artist as well, but geez... Twelve minutes for that? Next time edit it down more. I've been re watching these clips lately and I normally wish they would go for much longer... Never thought that watching a talented artist draw a character I really like would put me out like rain sounds...
