This is my favorite Ronaldo's season ever. 2006-2007 was a massive breakthrough period for him, where he really transformed into a world class player. At the time Mourinho's Chelsea was unstoppable, it's was amazing to see this young United team beat them to the league title.

When Ronaldo knew how to play football and help team cohesion, with touch class and decent decision making and Ofc the skills. When he became obsessed with goals he forgot how to play ball it’s that simple and that’s why I put Ronaldinho r9 zidane n Messi over him. For those saying this wasn’t his prime, I know he had several primes but his best prime was 06-09 he’s was unplayable and he even got good goal scoring in these times, he was a monster.

He was a traditional wide midfielder (what we used to just call a winger back in the day), think guys like Beckham. Later became a fwd winger after Van Nistelrooy left for Madrid, and that's where the goals and assists starting to flood in. Went on to became a striker because of his Tendinitis condition- as to limit his time running around as much as possible.
