Regarding the "armor of..." concept, I remember an interview Robert Downey Jr. did when the first Iron Man movie came out where he talked about how the idea of the superhero was a uniquely American secular concept of a hero, different from heroes of the past who were beholden to a God or gods, wielding a magic sword or whatever that was gifted to them from some supernatural source. Tony Stark built his own suit of high-tech armor, and used it to fight oppression motivated by his own awakened human conscience. (He became woke!) That's a model, symbolically, worth emulating.

Overturning Roe v. Wade is about _more_ than bodily autonomy. As I understand it, the Supremes overturned Roe saying that Americans do _not_ have a right to privacy, contradicting the Fourth Amendment. That affects _every_ American, not just women. The right to bodily autonomy can be argued on different grounds, such as: being forced to continue an unwanted, or dangerous pregnancy is involuntary servitude; no living, breathing person can use someone else's body against their will to sustain their life, so no fetus should have that right, either; etc. Some of the Supremes have said that there's no constitutional right to fill-in-the-blank, totally ignoring the fact that our rights are _not_ limited to those enumerated in that document... Ninth Amendment "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people."
