My only visit was to see my team Rangers play Everton in 1997 for Dave Watson's testimonial match. Loved the character of the old stadium and will be sorry to see it go, particularly the Archibald Leitch signature pieces. The new stadium looks superb though and I wish the Toffees well in your new home. Loved seeing your video of the tour and glad your little lad enjoyed it.

Wow, what a really great video Nick, of you and young Jack making memories that you’ll cherish forever!! As an away fan, I was surprised to see the wooden seats had been removed from the away end. I remember them fondly. Finally big respect to Everton FC, for putting on such an amazing tour…👏🏻

In 1982 i watched match of the day and saw our new kit. The green one. I went to the everton shop on goodison road (i think its the ticket office now). It turned out my telly wasnt working right. I remember the look i got from the lady who served me.

Well Nick, just when I've said that was one of your best videos, you go and top it. FFS. This one was very emotional to me having being fortunate enough to have an Evertonian Dad who brought me to our hallowed ground when I was a young lad and I walked down many of those narrow corridors. I am wondering how many others are in an ever shrinking, dare I say, elite group, who have stood or sat in every single stand, including Boys Pen and in the Away End (during a derby match that one, so imagine how that went down). I am a member of that group. Thank you on behalf of your Jack for having you as an Evertonian Dad.

Loved the nighttime Goodison Tour. I've done the daytime tour, and your tour with your son Jack looked very different and even more evocative of the history of the great club. Each visit to the Grand Old Lady and videos like this makes me sad that it isn't going to be around much longer, but our move to the amazing new stadium on the banks of the Royal Blue Mersey will make the transition that much easier. Thanks.

Thanks for another great vid Nick. Really enjoyed it. Your Jack is such a great kid, hope he wasn't too scared. Always wondered how the players managed those tunnel steps, wearing boots. Reckon I'd break me leg, or neck 😢

Great video, Nick. I am sure you are proud of Mini-U and you'd have every right on the little evidence seen here. Little Jack was so at ease with you, clearly brought up well and he was so very confident talking to the audience, on screen. Full credit to the staff for making plenty of additive theatre to the tour. I'm not sure I'm going to manage getting a last visit to GP but it's still an objective.

Great tour - just watching this unusual night time tour really brings the history and tradition to life - this type of tour would never work in a modern stadium. Very nice touches from all of the guest appearance participants - sometimes there is just no substitute for classy 'old-tech' like this. Still have my NEC blue / white Eighties top.

Brilliant video really loved it. I remember my first ever game against Middlesbrough when Souness played for them before signing for Liverpool. Interestingly we watched it in the upper Bullens road stand I think the away supporters were in the old Park End stand. Even though the ground is old you can understand why we have to move let’s hope the ground can bring back the good old days. Many thanks for sharing along with your son Jack same name as my son but he’s not the pirate.

Neat look at Goodison - Jack and yourself looked like you enjoyed yourselves. Wondered why they do the tour at night and not during the day? Or is it because it wasn't that late, but your winter time? I never got the chance to do the tour when I was over last year. Maybe another time. Thanks again Nick for all your videos, very interesting to say the least. Thanks again.

I did the stadium tour in June 2023 and there is something magical about the ground. Goodison Park will be remembered and it is going to be upsetting about leaving the stadium but it is going to be a great move to the new ground Bramley Moore Dock.

It is going to be so emotional when the last match ever takes place at this beloved ground. I went to the match from 1971 - 1990 and have some fabulous memories. The only part of the ground I never went in was the main stand. 💙💙💙

The stadium really is old school. Funny to think in many years from now when your lad is an old man he'll be one of the last living links with the past. He can tell stories of the old stadium he knew as a kid.
