since most people are financially impatient, buying on terms ruins a lot of people and causes recessions. It's fast good feelings but if you buy on terms without an expected positive return on investment or without seriously needing what you're buying, then that's being broke it's not really clever it's stupid
@gamelandmaster3680 Жыл бұрын
Yep, paying on terms is a dangerous game. If you were to buy something on terms you are basically renting it for a temporary period of time. Since most contracts contain a clause for what happens if regular payments fail, you will almost certainly pay a steeper price than you would have wanted to. (Just adding to what you said)

That being said, these kids will be pushed to do it so at least they can understand how they're being fucked

The main reason cars and homes have gotten so expensive are loans. If there weren't any loans, a Range Rover would cost you less than half. Loans give companies the possibility to extract way more money from a product. Just an example: I have it on good authority that a BMW X3 costs about 8.000 € to produce. That includes R&D!!!. But it gets sold at 45k or so. Pretty nice markup. Why is it possible? Because of loans. If there weren't any loans, BMW would have to sell that car at 20k or even less, because no one could afford one.

I feel like they wouldn't sell expensive things for way cheaper they would just sell way cheaper products.

Well without loans you'd have to work until 90yo to buy stuff

I wish I had high school teachers like this dude. If we as a society started implementing this style of teaching and interaction we wouldn't even need a reform necessarily like we do now. In the U.S. anyways

Way better that they're engaged in what they're learning, enjoying the lesson, rather than being dead quiet and bored out of their minds. Even if they are a bit loud.
