Hi there, Great vid. Now i am asking on behalf of a friend of mine, He recently brought a second hand mistrial celling fan, Which like yours has a 5 speed controller with both summer and winter settings. When he tried to have it installed, The winter settings tripped the RCD. I was wondering if you would be able to share some incite as to what could be potentially causing that to happen?? That would be great if you can. Cheers

I have a Style 1 version of this fan, but it didn’t come with a controller sadly. They’re pretty much the same in terms of the sound and how they run. I wonder what’s the difference with the number of styles

I’m not actually 100% sure this is a style 2, I’m just going off memory. I belive the difference is in the controllers and in how many watts the fan draws.

@@willpower3544 Right. It’s probably why I heard that these Mistrals in that sort of time frame either have a Mistralaire style controller but also with Winter mode, or have that Style 2 controller
