I think people expect way too much from Sheree, based on her chronological age. Sheree dropped out of middle school and never pursued her GED, high school diploma, trade school, or any other academic pursuits. Additionally, she had a child a 13/14 years old, which is traumatic for a child (and some women). Needless to say, Sheree has arrested development (psychologically) and age regression issues, as she is still that 13/14 yr old girl when it comes to emotional (im)maturity, but folks want her to respond as a 53 yr old, although she is not there. For example, listen to how she reasons, responds, and communicates about ANYTHING, and one can deduced that she is still stuck at the age of her traumatic event. I surmise she may also have a learning or developmental disability as well. Is it possible for her to mature and grow? Yes, but she must first see the problem and commit to improving, unlearning poor behaviors, and process her trauma in therapy vs. projecting her pain on others via television.

But Sheree isn't going to do those things because as long as she's on RHOA she doesn't have to. Look at what she did with her house, her business, and her relationship history. She doesn't do the full work or the hard work which is why these things all took so long and some still aren't right. Her judgement is also way off but she never asks anyone for help. She has Kandi and Kenya right there who both have successfully launched businesses that are thriving but she never tried to learn from them. And Kandi also has a good marriage. If I had someone like her in my circle who is also so willing to help others, I would be trying to learn as much as I can. And she's right there with Dr. Jackie from Married to Medicine but instead of consulting her about her fibroids, she gets acupuncture (which can help temporarily but doesn't resolve the problem). That was a teachable moment that was lost. But then, I don't expect much from Sheree because lately the storylines have been weak for her.
