I traveled all over the world and visited many airports. Not have I ever once was treated as a criminal just because i was wearing a Hijab! The security was awful to me and every lady who was wearing a hijab. I had one of the most humiliating experience as we were the only ones who were body searched in front of everyone. Shame on you and your extreme protocols that are only applicable on certain groups of people. I had an amazing time in Prauge and all the people was so nice till i came to the airport and experienced this.

First of all, you could ask for a private inspection separately from other people. Second, quick Google search shows that there are many airports around the world which check people in these clothing. Even TSA on their website (section Religious Clothing and Headwear) states that head coverings may be subject to additional screening including pat-down.

Many airports all over the world apply the rule of hand search for all non-removable head coverings. TSA among others. You can also ask for a private inspection by a female security in a separate room.
