Well done. Maybe put rollers on the bottom plate and make the saw index 90 deg. Then you can rip an 8 ft long sheet. 😃

very impressive , would probably work better with tubes rather than box section but use what you can get hold of and whats cheaper. good job. I can see lots of upgrades being made in people's thoughts that write on here like tape measures, end stops, dust collection and so on, I think also a little bit more weight would make it easier on the counter balance.

You should have put wheels on the bottom that the piece of wood you want to cut steps on, or a surface to help it slide, because the wood will deteriorate over time. Your build can't cut large pieces and your saw can't move left and right, so you could do the same job with an additional rail attachment for radial saws.

Looks good. However, there are too many variables, to achieve accuracy and maintain it, precision is required. A track saw would give much more accurate and repeatable results, and would be less expensive. There is a reason why panel saws are so expensive, it takes accuracy and stability to maintain precision.
