Apologies if I missed it in the video - Can you incorporate regular Carcassonne expansions into Mists? If so, have you tried and which is your favourite doing this? :)

Hi Chris, yes we have, but we haven't talked about it much or played a lot. Towards the end we talk a little bit about incorporating the ghost :)

Sounds amazing! I was thinking back than to buy the Carcassonne BigBox but I realized that there are too many rules coming with it, so I decided to rather go with one of the standalone games and I am so glad that I did that. Carcassonne is meant to be played fast. Therefore I'm really looking into this version here, because a coop variant of Carcassonne sounds perfect for a family with kids! Thanks guys 😃👍

I own the big box and the great thing is you get to pick and choose what expansions to actually use. You don't need to use them all.

There’s co-op rules released for the original Carcassonne edition as well. The rules are free online to view & print. Hope that helps!

I may have missed this in the video sorry (ADHD brain), is there a way to play this version competitively as well as co-op? I've never played original carcasonne before, its on my list of future games, but I'm wondering whether to get this version instead since I have land vs sea for a competitive game. Love the spooky element to it. Thank you :)

No problems! Yes we mentioned it briefly in the video. Hmm Carcasonne is pretty classic, so probably still need to play that haha. It also has app that you can play on the phone, ipad, etc

I think that base game along with 'Traders & Builders' and 'Inns & Cathedral' expansions is a complete game. If you wanna add 'The Count of Carcassonne' for an even more cutthroat game.
