2:48 I've heard that Embellishment before on an Archtop Jazz Guitar but it sounds amazing when played on a Nylon Acoustic Guitar, perfect for an Unplugged Setting.

Thanks man! Yeah, you know, I kind of rediscovered a lot of standards tunes, just for playing them on nylon string guitar. I've found myself playing them differently.

Hi Daniel, nice arrangement, I like this on a classical guitar [ my favorite way to play it also ]

Thanks Tim! I love playing jazz tunes on nulon strings. Made me play in a different way than the electrics, dont't you think? Unfortunately an old tendonitus problem doesn't allow me to play nylon as much as I wish.

Nice Daniel. I notice some influences in your playing, but you still sound like you so that's always a fabulous thing. I'm going to borrow(steal) some of your embellishments. I liked the IV followed by the Bbm7 Cm7 and the maj7+5 on the I. Thanks for the share ! jimmyg

Daniel Corzo To get that Jazzy Sound use Thomastik CF128 Flatwound Nylon Classical Strings or even so KF110 Flatwound Steel Classical Strings for an even Jazzier sound.

Have been scouring KZbin for a classical version that was true to the original. This is the best I've come across! Beautiful rendition. Is there any sheet music available?

I really appreciate your kind words! I've played this tune for years and in this vid just improvised a litlle bit with the harmonized melody. So I don't have a score of this version. But maybe I do have something similar. Do you mind to reach me in FB? I'll check for a score among my arrangenments, which I usually do for my students. Maybe you can find something useful.

@UCWhbpC93ElJ0R3tC79iYZcA The Nylon Strings are much easier on the Fretting Hand than Steel Strings, which is why they're great for beginners.

Daniel, I got to see Joe in person a few times in Chicago. Your playing is a treat to hear!

Thanks a lot! He's been one of my biggest influences surely! But also the reason for to me to play jazz guitar at first, and solo jazz guitar a little bit later.

Who built your Archtop 7 String?
@DanielCorzo2 жыл бұрын
Hi Oscar, I own 2 archtop 7-strings. One of them is made by Benedetto in the States and the other one has ben built by Argentinean luthier, Italy based Carlos Michelutti. He lives in Cremona.

@@DanielCorzo Kinda reminds me of this video:kzbin.info/www/bejne/goLOeJSBrJyIeZY because it shows you that a Gibson SG isn't limited to Metal, Bluegrass Music, & even Blues is a good match for it too.

@@DanielCorzo Earl Klugh is known for playing Jazz on a Nylon Acoustic Guitar because those Nylon Strings are easier on his fretting hand.
