Nice! This was the first song that I started practicing on the flute, and I love it. I think this particular song sounds really great on the silver flute, with the long notes and the vibrato. Congratulations for the baby!

This particular whistle style is actually not native in origin. The natives also never played a woodwind whistle in a musical manner as we hear it today. They had a type of woodwind whistle they played in way similar to how birds do mating calls. You would not be culturally appropriating anything if you played one of these whistles.
