Yep, he's shaking the camera at the end, with that ridiculous note. Thank you for another great reaction, I really enjoyed it. I''m pretty sure that the whole album that Peter Hollens did of songs from the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit is available on Spotify, though this is the only track that has Tim on it. On the other hand, they've worked together on a number of other songs, as well as ones that Peter did with all of Home Free. You might like to listen to their version of the Beach Boys, God Only Knows, that they sing together with their wives, who are also talented singers - it's on Peter's channel.

Told ya! I knew you would love this. It’s so good. Yes, it’s only Peter and Tim and their two voices. Peter is a master at layering so it sounds like a choir. While Peter does the highest voices Tim goes tenor in this as well while also going down in the depths. I think he hits a G#1 at the end and yes the camera shakes. hahahah. He has broken speakers at live concerts too. Peter and Tim have a new song out called Long Black Train you might really like and Tim goes low again. They have quite a few collaborations. Sound of Silence, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Fire and Rain, Greensleeves. All are good. Home Free keeps doing their thing too. Love your reaction!!!!

I apologize about Long Black Train in my comments down below. It’s Tim Foust with Chris Rupp (formerly of Home Free) and not Peter Hollens. Sorry about that. It’s very good and Tim goes low in that as well. Misty Mountains is from the movie The Hobbit and I love it too. I especially loved Lord of the Rings. Yes, this music gets to you. You feel like they’re a part of the movie. Enjoy!

Just ran across one of your reactions to Home Free a few hours ago. I have just been through every one you have done and have to say I LOVE your channel. Your subs will for sure go up as long as you continue to go down their years of work. When they colab with other groups and especially with Peter like this one or Chris Rupp who founded Home Free (and is now doing other projects) with Adam his brother (beatboxer) and still works with Tim alot. In fact check out Long Black Train they just did on Chris Rupps channel. It's amazing!!!! Your excitement over the talent is so fun and so on point. You have a ton of choices to find and they will continue to make you laugh, cry, sit in wonder and just want more and more. The talent of all 5 of these guys in Home Free is just unreal. Each and everyone. When they do solo work or colab it's just as amazing. I feel privileged to listen to them. If you ever have a chance to see them live, do it. They are even better live and so fun to be with. I'll be sticking around as long as you react to the guys. Home Fries for life. 😁

Love this song and anything LoTR-related! I believe it was intentional that when Peter sang the higher pitch, it exacerbated how low Tim’s voice actually is when he came back into the video at the end. The contrast between them is amazing and you really can’t do better than their version of this.

Oh LOTR are my favorites as well!! Extended versions are the best. They are so epic and you can truly see that it was a love song from peter jackson to tolkien. So much effort went into detail and keeping as close as possible to the amazing source material. If you haven’t, I’d recommend the books (or audiobooks if you don’t have hours to sit without doing other things!). Wonderful reads. Love to see your incredibly enthusiastic reaction. These two men are both amazingly talented singers and together it’s like butter!

My son gave me the extended version of the trilogy. OMG. I'd loan it to you if I was in Mississippi, but I'm in Texas. I read the books years ago and I was actually around in the late 60s for the 'Frodo Lives' graffiti when the books suddenly 'went viral' a long time after they were published. The movies just gave me such a great visual to go with the story.

Man I’m 51 and have never liked country till I saw YOU react to home free and Tim. I’m Kinda a bass singer and I play bass. In fact if you wanted a bass I swear I’d build dang near anything you want. My only talent.and want to Join the church so any tips or advice I’d appreciate it. I know you are busy bot only two people I enjoy and get something useful From Their reactions. Thank You brother. BTW I Can sing daily high, not sure of the note bi can usually hit an E1 and subharmonics just need guidance on getting my notes to flow better. We had people die as many did from covid and my wife was near death a couple times , in ICU 4 months. and you help me get thru it. And I still listen every nightLove to my brother in Christ. And if Jesus isn’t your savior I love you anyway. She even said that’s a good man there! Goodnight and bless you. Oh I’m a Mississippi’s boy too. Magnolia

As other commenters have mentioned, if you want to hear some impressive bass singing from another singer try Geoff Castelucci (solo channel) and his A cappella group Voiceplay. His solo cover of Blackbird by the Beatles and the Voiceplay performances of Ooogie Boogie's Song and Kidnap the Sandy Claus (both from the movie Nightmare Before Christmas), as well as the Grinch song and various medleys from Disney movies. Good stuff.
