Dai and Mao . . . The Promise

Synopsis: Hamao returns to Japan after studying abroad for several years, hoping to find that the promise he made with Dai-chan still holds true.
* Hey Everyone . . . So I heard that our beloved Mao is no longer in Japan and is now abroad somewhere to pursue his new dreams. Though I am happy for him, and wish him the best, I still miss seeing him and Dai-chan together. So .. I made this video for them, in the hopes that when Mao returns all will be well. Enjoy!

This is beautiful. where ever Mao is I wish him the best. it's been a while now since he retired and I hope that as busy as Dai may be now a days he still keeps in contact with Mao. Daily seems a bit bolder I find these days. I still can't getting used to seeing him without Mao as a pair in acting or photoshoots. it's not the same when I see him with other people. it's like something is missing. anyhow. Dai I awesome as well and unfortunately being in Canada we don't get much places where we can buy the new stuff that Dai has done. wish them always the best. love and light to both. love from Canada. Hi There. I am quite sure that Mao will return to Japan after finishing his studies. After all, his family is in Japan and so is Dai-chan. ^^ I don't think though, that Mao and Dai will ever return to the Takumi-kun series. Dai is already 32, and it would be difficult for him to portray a high school student at his age. Perhaps if they took the series and projected it into the future-- like maybe Gii is now in the corporate field and is working at his dad's company or something . .but I guess that is why we have fan fiction, right? Hi There! LOL . .I am quite sure Mao will return to Japan after finishing in New York. Mao and Dai's friendship is a strong one, and even now, they are still in communication with each other. Yay ^^ It is just that Takumi-kun series that I don't think will happen because it follows the manga. But it is not to say that Mao and Dai cannot do another film together, right? There is speculation as to what he is really majoring in . .some say law, others say architecture or interior design, but whatever it is, I am sure that Hamao will do well. Daichan just recently released his new photobook entitled "Road" a few days ago and will be in the Broadway stage production of "South Pacific" this summer. Thank you also for your sweet comment. I hope that this video did capture what we are longing to see . . the reunion of Mao and Dai. I sincerely hope that their love story is not over. Mao left Japan for New York to pursue his new dreams. If I am not mistaken, I think that Dai also graduated from college before entering the entertainment world (hence is older age) so I wouldn't be surprised if he was the one encouraging Hamao to go back to school for his degree. I will keep my fingers crossed for these two . . I know that they are still in contact with one another, and I can only hope that a "promise" was made between them to wait for one another . .. after all, absence does make the heart grow fonder . . my husband and I are living proof of this. We were dating for less than a month before he went away to college for four years. It was Mao's sole decision and he did it for several reasons: he got tired and the burden of always having to maintain a certain image became too tough for him. His recent blog entries contain many questions that speak of self-doubt...stuff like..."was it really good?"..."I'm not sure, but I hope you liked and enjoyed it." He also said in a comment on ameba: He didn't like when girls were talking so much about something unimportant. Also, he didn't like the body contact with girls. Mao's new agency... I heard that they didn't treat him well. They restricted him too much. We all know that they ordered Mao to keep things down with Dai-chan in public. But more than that Mao had almost no influence on decisions about which projects he'd like to participate in etc. The also tried to create a certain image of him and turn him into someone he wasn't. Love, I heard from my informant that Mao is tired of hiding his feelings for a certain someone and his true relationship with that person. ;)

I had heard indeed that Hamao has returned (for how long though I don't know) to Tokyo and has seen a lot of his friends, as well as Dai-chan. I heard he has spent some time with Daisuke and even went to watch Dai-chan in one of his plays. I am so so happy to hear this. Perhaps I should make another Dai-Mao video to celebrate this occasion. Yes, they have been spending quite a lot of time together and also meeting friends..Mao went to see a performance of 1789 in Osaka in which Dai Chan plays Camille Desmoulin... I don' t know if Mao is going to stay for good...In his blog Dai Chan mentionned " finaly tomorrow" which coincided with Mao' s birthday at the time ( june 25th ).. .Please my dear Misty, make one of your beautiful videos for us...it might encourage them to make a beautiful come back !!! Dai-chan, Mao, Takki and the director are still discussing the bed scene, the director and Takki emphasizing how passionate and real it looks. Dai-chan: "It sounds strange, but at that point the time where we had become real lovers had already come." Mao: "waaaaahhh..." (he's clearly embarrassed) Director: "This kiss..." Dia-chan: "Yes..." Director: "This kiss doesn't look like a fake kiss, now does it?" Mao: "Yeah..." Director: "Throughout the movies there are many kisses and both of you have grown much more comfortable with kissing... but here the way you move your lips against each other...it doesn't look like a fake kiss anymore." Dai-chan: "Well, I don't know if it's good to say but, I really love him with all my heart..." Mao: "...Me too..." Dai-chan: "I really love Takumi, maybe that's why it looks so natural." Well, what do you think about that? The first time I heard this part of the audio commentary I almost fell off the sofa and then I broke into hysterical fangirl giggles!!!!!!

Hi There Bill! This lyrics for this song is so very touching, isn't it? You are so right about precious memories being stored in our hearts when being separated from a loved one. I know you know how that feels, and so do I, being that I was on a 4 year long distance relationship before he finally returned and we got married. +Holly Dunbar Hi Holly! I think the other movie you are talking about in which Mao and Dai starred together was called, "Bokutachi no Kougen Hoteru". I know that there has been an english subbed version of this movie on You Tube before, but I do not know if it is still posted. +Sya wil Hi Sya . . I believe all of the Takumi Kun series are posted on You tube with eng sub titles as well as other languages too. The first of the series star two other actors, other than Mao and Dai, but from Takumi 2-5 Mao and Dai are in the lead roles. If you can't find series 1 on YT, you might google it and write: Watch Takumi-kun 1 eng subs and it should direct you to it. I just searched and came up with this: myreadingmanga.info/live-action-takumi-kun-1-soshite-harukaze-ni-sasayaite-2007/ Scroll down a bit and you should be able to watch it.
