This seems pretty cool. I've worked in a plant where locate pins were used on most fixtures. I think fixture design would be really interesting and fun to learn.

Does anyone now about drilling a hole under the pin and after tight fitting hammering the hope with cone shaped tool to further strengthen connection??

I've never heard of this but it sounds like a real pain considering you would be hitting the pin back out of the fixture.

By the way I am thinking 8 mm pin and 7.8 mm hole is this normal
