The wonder is not that Suga drank, but that he made it all those years enduring intense pain and the resultant emotional trauma without becoming addicted to pain pills. When removed from the support of his fellow band members, of course, his struggle with depression would worsen. I hope his band members step up to support him. I’m heartbroken hearing what people are saying. We, all of us make mistakes. Suga should get the same treatment as anyone else, he’s not trying to avoid consequences, he’s not demanding celebrity privileges. Please don’t throw him under the bus because we expect perfection from the people we look up to. It’s easy to be a supporter when everything is great, but this is when we really need to step up and support our idols. Remember, there are those that want BTS out of the way and this is a perfect opportunity to drive a wedge in and reduce BTS. It sounds like this fan account took the first opportunity to close the account at the first misstep for BTS. I understand if the club had gotten too large and maybe just overwhelming. That being said, Armys do not make demands such as getting Suga to leave. He is not going anywhere. The investigation is still ongoing so it would be wiser to await the official outcome. I am surprised that some one, Suga, is a first time offender, this incident did not warrant the out cry. Other idols who have been charged and faced very harsh sentencing for drugs, sex abuse, and other offenses. Individuals who make decisions that are crimes should be punished, however, what Suga said and I believe him he did not know it was illegal to drive the vehicle after have drinks. Also how many in the fandom made choices that would have gotten them into trouble. I stand with Suga.

I wish BTS moved to another contry, away from Korea! BTS fan base is worldwide, so that`s not a problem. BTS is a huge billion dollar business that can be run from anywhere in the world, and with the sum of over 30 billion dollars BTS has payed in taxes, that`s what the state loses, if BTS becomes citizens of another country. I can't believe how quick people are to destroy others when they make a mistake. As others have stated he has apologised, he has always been more than generous with donations (right from the beginning of his career when he didn't even have much money) To my knowledge none of the BTS members have ever claimed to be perfect. I find this news about Suga very upsetting because I think some fans are over reacting. As far as I am concerned he made a mistake. Does that mean that he should be condemned forever? It seems that Korean celebrities are held to an unreasonably high standard, and if they don’t live up to it public opinion can ruin their careers and lives in an instant. This incident seems so small in the grand scheme of things. He has already apologized and seems to have seriously reflected on his unwise decision. He deserves another chance. If Suga is not part of BTS, then the group is no longer BTS. All of them, including Suga, have done so much good for Korea and the world.

@@karch6150 from what I’ve gathered from programmes on Korea and even a person I knew that taught English there, I’m sorry to say this, but Korea has a haeRsh/7underlying culture of bullying, gossip and judging people, especially among school kids and younger people. Think about the several idols who have unalived themselves over the last few years, owing to cruel gossip and judgements and the sheer pressure of trying to be perfect for their public. Absolutely tragic, but real. I love Suga and wish for the best for him. He has a powerful compassionate heart and wants to work with charities later in life. He was reluctant to get the BTS tattoo, in case it would frighten anyone he tries to help (tattoos have a bad reputation in Korea) . What a beautiful soul!
