@@Israel2.3.2 imagine a curve and all those digital rectangles under that curve. Let's say there are 128 rectangles from point A to point B on the x-axis. It can mean 128 digital bites in one sec(A to B is 1 sec) on your recorded song under the sound wave. Cause the sound wave is analog and 128 bites under that wave are digital, you will have like little triangles on top of those rectangular each (between the top of rectangular and that curve of the wave) That little triangular IS THE REST, a mistake between digital and analog( C-Constant). If you have instead 128 rect,..say 10,000 it means those triangulars (that C-constant) are smaller and smaller. That is why your song has better sound on 360b/s than 128b/s So that "C"(constant ) is that little triangular and the actual mistake/ the rest between analog and digital

I believe she said "stop" because he'd already won. He then went back and added absolute value signs to make his answer valid on a larger set of points. The function x^4/(1-x^2) has three separate "pieces." It only makes sense to integrate on one of these pieces at a time. His original answer makes sense on the middle piece and is undefined elsewhere. Once he added the absolute value bars, it gives a correct answer on each of the three pieces individually.

I'd say at least 75% of the time, the equations that I've had to use were already simplified into algebraic form, of course the textbook always shows how the equations were derived using Calculus/ Differential equations. The only time when we have to use Calculus or D.E. is when the derivations can't take us any further because it doesn't know what form the derivative/integral is gonna be in.
