A trimester is 12 weeks of study i.e. 3 months. Master's course has 4 trimesters over 2 years. That means 2 trimester each year. And 4 months of holiday break from November till March where you can work full time. For fees structure visit MIT website and see the breakdown of each trimester.

No , you get a 5 months break after the end of first two trimester. That are from March to July and then july to october. From November to February , you get holidays which is more of a summer break

Since it's a Master's in Research, you need to put in a lot of effort because the thesis, practicals, and labs are all mandatory and strictly evaluated by the tutors. By the way, I'm a student here, so I'm sharing this from my experience.

the immigration process can be lengthy sometimes and issuing visa for so many students migrating to Australia for higher education takes some time, it is an anxious period of long wait however don't be discouraged if everything went well, you should be able to receive your visa within this month. Sometimes people get their visa's 3-4 days before their orientation. so sit tight and hope for the best. you will get it

There are plenty of Jobs in Melbourne market , it is very easy to get into Hospitality and earn pay rate. With regards , to staying there's a cost of living vlog that i uploaded , you need to find an accommodation for your usually people find similar students to share a unit. Food is something you would have to figure out for yourself , it's a part of being independent that everyone eventually learns. Australia Job Market vlog is coming out by end of this week.
