MIT ReACT Alumn Testimonial: Alexis González

Alexis Ernesto González is a Venezuelan migrant who has been living in Uruguay for several years now because of the unstable social and political environment in which he was living in his native country.
He was accepted as part of the Uruguay cohort of the 2022 Certificate in Computer and Data Science. The program combined academic development, immersive skills workshops, professional internships and experiential learning opportunities to provide learners with the hands-on skills and experiences needed to accelerate their learning and professional journeys.
