Mitch has always been so good at pathos. In "Kiss the Air" we see the precursor of Mitch's powerful and emotional performances in the lamentably lost "Frozen" medley, in "Defying Gravity," and finally his 2015-2016 version of "Aha."

I enjoyed this reaction. Yep they have always been amazing. The "Now I Know" song was on they wrote. So not only were they great singers, but also songwriters as fetuses. lol

A little heavy on the drama, maybe; hadn't yet learned the "restraint" that Sara Bareilles praised so highly in the Sing-Off, but they already had the voices AND a great deal of the technique. Videos like this are such a treasure! I enjoyed your reaction, as always.

Loved your reaction of this. Well, I love all your reactions. I'm going to be a bit self indulgent in this part of the comment. Mitch n Kirstie dated late middle school early high schoolish. He came out at 15. The year before this. I imagine this is his beautiful tribute to her and how he didn't want to break her heart but he had to be true to himself. Yeah, I'm a romantic. Funny fact. Read a comment recently on a Pentatonix video where the guy was asking what high school Mitch had gone to. Turns out he went to a rival school in the district and he said everybody "hated" Mitch because he was always so good and I had heard he had taken 1st place in many of the competitions. Too much info? lol, just thought I'd share.
