Credit to the Chiefs organization and to coach Reid. Not every team would have let him stay out there to earn it. Look at what the Broncos did.

They better sign him next year. The guy always demands two people to double team him. no way you give that up next year.

There’s no way they resign him. He’ll cost too much. We need those WR and OL

@@johnnymacattack would rather have a stronger defense. Because if the offense is a weak link again next year, I don’t see them putting up 30,35 points a game.

@@Jacob-nu4nd, 30 M is a lot! We need at least one free agent WR then then two in the draft.

Yes, CJ95 is the most impactful defensive player since DT58. NO, KC will not be resigning him on his well-earned top 3 DT mega contract. Unfortunately, in an ironic twist, CJ's latest in a career of 8 consecutive outstanding seasons will basically guarantee that he can ask for and command his big-money payday. But KC has to now be thinking about resigning our impact young dudes. Creed, Sneed, Gay, Bolton, Reid, Cook... Pretty much the whole defense plus add some WRs and shore up some depth at OT that doesn't suck. *I hate it,* but so it goes in a salary cap league. $20M/yr x 4 yrs to one All-Pro HOF guy who'll be 32 next yr, or split that same $80M on proven young talent, meaningful FA signings and draft keepers. Unless, that is, Jones accepts a team friendly deal in order to play his whole career in KC, which he said he'd like to do. But money talks. I hate it, but this is Chris Jones' last season as a Chief.😢 Thanks for the memories, 95. My favorite Chiefs defender since D. Thomas, Berry, Houston, Hali and Allen are up there. But 95 stands w/ 58 at the top of the mountain 🐐

@@Jacob-nu4nd love our defense but they can’t afford to keep Jones. Keep Sneed and get a couple replacements for Jones for half the price. But the o line needs to protect Mahomes.
