It's more that they ran a play after faking victory formation. Defenses don't rush victory formations out of good faith to avoid unnecessary injuries, taking advantage of that is scummy. Seems like everyone is cool with saints fake kneel against the falcons. I’d point this out for consideration. The saints weren’t tied, or even close in that final play. They were up by 4 scores. The game was over. By going for a fake kneel they signaled that they would not run the score up further. They signaled respect for the falcons and then kicked them in the nuts while they were down. It was a dirty play. If you think I’m wrong, the announcer, both coaches, numerous sports writers, etc, called it low class. If you wanted to run the score up or give that player a shot at the end zone then line up and run a real play against a real defense. Did they think he couldn’t make it without a cheap shot? I’m not a falcons fan. Could care less about the nfc. But. I’m a fan of sportsman ship. Saints team does not have it. I’m also a fan of karma. Let’s. See what happens to them moving forward.
