So much truth in the old saying, "80% rider 20% bike"
@robertrishel36855 ай бұрын
Absolutely! With motocross it’s very nearly all up to the rider. Same with every genre of motorcycle racing. I think with cars and car racing, it’s much, much more dependent upon the car. Cars are so easy to go fast in, you can take nearly anyone off of the street and easily instruct them to go very fast on a track, probably within very close relative times to what is possible for the given car. But in every discipline of racing, it’s those final tenths that are the difference.

Your Pro circuit pipe is my favorite on my yz300 2 str. But at age 53 it's difficult to still ride big jumps. Thanks for the effort you all.

Congrats Mitch!!! Always back in the day watching the races id explain how pro circuit always had the best program and bikes and produced true champions and it was obvious to the non- dedicated fans that that was a notch above the rest,so evrrytime after that they would root for P.C.

When Chuck Yeager was Commanding Officer of a Fighter Squadron in Germany he trained his pilots by flying against them in an older model jet. He waxed them every time simply because he knew more about aircraft control and tactical maneuvers than they did! It was the pilot not the machine that won!

Basically what Mitch is saying is non of the current riders has a set of balls. Not like the riders of the past. To many riders who need pampers these days.
@matthunter16675 ай бұрын
Lol but the current riders are putting down the fastest lap times we've ever seen !!! The lights class is throwing down lap times on par with what the premier class was doing just a few years ago... Sorry but these kids today are faster than ever and the bikes are just on another level with suspension and power.

I thought everyone believed that. It’s always been the rider

Nah more so today with the bikes being so close but in the 80's you had to be on a Honda to be competitive.

To beat Jett someone needs to Bob Hannah it and be out of control near all the time and then try to wrestle it like that all the way to the finish 😂

Yamaha has been beating you down Mitch in the recruitment department. You haven’t picked a true champion in years.
