Unfortunately Germany appreciates Mitch and in America they listen to hip hop and rap. Auto tune and lip syncs are the rage here. Mitch hangs in there. Authentic and a icon. Rocking like Detroit. Bruce idolizes Mitch as I do. Got to kick it with him once in Jackson Michigan at a outdoor gig. He treated me as a equal as I am a Fanboy of his. Talked about ten minutes. An American Treasure who deserves more

My Gawd!! Mitch still has it and his Band are tighter than many "A" List & better known bands. He blows the Stones away. Gritty n Raw like Detroit.

Seriously, his voice has gotten better in recent years than it's been since the 1960s. Compare this with his 1979 Rockpalast performance. He now has better control, a wider range, more power and a better tone. I think he used to have problems with his throat and voice. It's awesome that he's singing better at 75 than at 35!

At 45 minutes the band tells Mitch he's working from a new song list he hadn't give anyone else. LOL, I've been there, our band once did an entire show wondering why our singer wasn't following the song list. He had his own list. (Out of so many great songs, I'm glad Mitch did The Thrill of It All at this show.)

Where are the hits he had in the 60’s? People come to hear those. If I’d bought a ticket I’d have been very disappointed.

Not in Germany - he's only (sadly) relegated to being an oldies act in the US. Over in Europe he's been a vital artist for the last 40+ years with a slew of great albums the US market has completely ignored. People seeing him in Germany expect what he's doing here and appreciate it...as do I. I still love his 60s hits too, but I appreciate his growth and am thankful he's still recording and performing.
