Hi Mitchell, I would like to say thank you. I suffered from suicidal moods for a time and while lifting made these thoughts go largely away, I sometimes overcompensated and put too much strain on my nervous system, but your advice on recovery (sleep, nutrition, and knowing when the nervous system is overloaded) really helps. Also the 2 to 5% rule helps a lot. So thank you and good luck at the Rogue Invitational. I have no doubt you will do very nicely indeed :) I still need to work on not being annoyed so much by loudmouth ego lifters at the gym. Maybe I should wear earplugs or something.

6 one way, half a dozen to the other. 8/9 or perfect season of 6 or 7 shows I think Thor had? You can make arguments either way. I personally would have them tied. Maybe the one caveat, Thor could possibly have the argument of beating better top end competition. You can argue Kiels, Licis, Shaw, Big Z are better competition than everyone now besides Thor and Tom. 2018 also had the best competitor to never win a major show in JF.

as per your question at the end....I think with you beating thor everytime in the last three comps, that if you beat him here as well, with all your wins this year, it definitely surpasses thors best year. I truly believe if you hadnt ripped your hands open due to humidity at the WSM you would have won that show as well.....

Don't forget. Thor is just starting his comeback. He's done so well. We often forget, he said the first year was about progress. No strongman fan at this point last year expected him to do this well, this soon. Oh, and yes from me too. A win here makes best season on record. Competed that much more and the depth of the field is growing.
