My gf went to that concert and called me afterwards talking about, it was hella cool until a bunch of guys in purple started fighting. We're from Sac so I said, I told u not to be out there like that. Told her those purple dudes were from Grape St. & were waiting to start some 💩 lol. I learned about Mitchy from the MCs he mentioned. Gotta appreciate these MCs who are able to navigate in the underground and the streets.

The summer jam was in Irvine back in 2002 when that all went down, when LL Cool J was performing on stage. You probably thinking about the Run DMC Raising Hell riot that jumped off back in 1986 in Long Beach at the convention center arena.
